Marian Art Gallery
Between There and Now
February 19 - March 16
Lecture March 14, 2018, 5-6pm in Helfaer Hall (room change), reception to follow 6-7pm
Since 2008, Lois Bielefeld has been making portraits about people's habits and personal spaces. During this time span, she has photographed and re-photographed some of the same individuals for different projects. Between There and Now features the overlapping subjects from three bodies of work: The Bedroom (2008-2012), Weeknight Dinners (2013-2015, 2017) and Neighborhood (2015-current). Capturing the same individuals over time and place gives the viewer a sense of voyeurism and self-reflection.
- Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
