Education:

Bachelor of Science Psychology, University of Evansville

Favorite part of my job:

I work with transfer, second degree, certificate, accelerated, and re-entry students. I love working with these groups of students because they ask challenging questions and keep me on my toes!

The best thing about Mount Mary is...

I love the people here: the students, staff, faculty, and administration. We are a big, warm community that feels like family. I believe in what we are doing here. I have seen women transformed by their Mount Mary education.

In Milwaukee, you have to check out...

The village of Wauwatosa is nearby and has some great restaurants, as well as Tosa Fest and a Farmer's Market in the summer. There is great shopping at Mayfair Mall and The Mayfair Collection; both of which are very close to campus. I also enjoy going to Admirals hockey games and Brewers baseball games every once in a while.

What does "Mount Mary Creates" mean to you?

Mount Mary Creates is more than charcoal and paint. It is about thinking creatively; being innovative, agile, open-minded, and able to navigate complexity. It is about inventing, experimenting, and being imaginative. It is cross-disciplinary. This is what employers want to see. Creative thinkers can develop solutions to problems that do not even exist yet. Our faculty are incorporating creativity into their classrooms. Our staff and administration are thinking creatively to address student concerns. Our students will graduate with abilities not easily defined to be able to go out and transform the world. This is what Mount Mary creates means to me.
