Marian Gallery Showcases Best in Contemporary Craft
Exhibit features the best fine craft work by 50 Wisconsin artists
MILWAUKEE (February 17, 2014) - An exhibition of contemporary fine art by members of the Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council (WDCC) will be on display in Mount Mary University's Marian Gallery March 3 - 29. A closing reception will take place on Friday, March 28 from 7-8:30 p.m. Both the exhibit and closing reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibit showcases the best fine craft work by 50 Wisconsin artists and features ceramics, fiber, wood, metal, glass, jewelry, photography and mixed media. Founded in 1916, WDCC is the second oldest craft organization in the nation and the exhibition is the group's 82nd annual competition. Learn more at www.wdcc.org.
