Wisconsin's Private College Week, July 14-19, 2014
Enter to win $1,000 "Go Grant"
Mount Mary University, along with Wisconsin's other 22 private, nonprofit colleges and universities, is taking part in Wisconsin Private College Week; July 14 through July 19. Celebrating its nineteenth year, Wisconsin Private College Week is sponsored by the Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities (WAICU) and provides students the opportunity to visit all of Wisconsin's private nonprofit colleges.
During Wisconsin Private College Week, students visiting Mount Mary can take advantage of campus tours, meet with admission counselors, get financial aid and scholarship information, and much more. As a special incentive, those who visit during Wisconsin Private College Week will have their university application fee waived.
Students also can register to win one of five $1,000 "Go Grants" during week to apply towards tuition.
According to Dr. Rolf Wegenke, president of WAICU, more than 90 percent of first-year students attending Wisconsin private colleges and universities receive financial aid so that, for many, out-of-pocket costs are comparable to those charged to students attending public institutions.
