Mount Mary Faculty Named as Notable Leaders in Higher Education

Three faculty and administrators from Mount Mary University were among those recognized as luminaries in higher education, according to the 2025 Biz Times Milwaukee Notable Leaders in Higher Education list. In a Jan. 27 release, the publication named Keri Alioto, Ed.D. (vice president of student affairs), Kristen Carioti, Ph.D. (professor and dean of the School of Arts & Sciences) and Kari Inda, Ph.D. (professor and department chair of the Occupational Therapy program) as influential in shaping the learning landscape.

Biz Times Milwaukee publishes its annual list highlighting accomplished leaders at colleges and universities throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The individuals selected demonstrate the quality of higher education leadership in the region and their dedication to developing the next generation of talent.

“We are incredibly proud of our three Mount Mary honorees,” said Mount Mary President Isabelle Cherney, Ph.D. “Through their innovative approaches to teaching, learning, researching, service and their authentic leadership they are transforming our students and the entire Mount Mary community. Their dedication to our mission, compassion and care for everyone is truly inspiring.”
